INTRODUCING KIZUNA: THE ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION

Kizuna are those invisible threads that tie us together.
Kizuna honours those relationships woven over time: between artisan and material, colleague and customer, mother and daughter, home and heart.
We chose this as the namesake for our anniversary collection, celebrating 20 years of enduring bonds, memories and connection between communities to create and thrive. The effects of Kizuna are everywhere you look.

A single cotton thread requires the interlocking of many other threads to forge a fabric of lasting quality. The same can be said about the ecosystem of artisans, designers, stockists and valued customers. Bianca Lorenne could not have existed on its own for 20 years without this cooperative symbiosis. In this world, every individual plays a fundamental part in a long-lasting journey across time.
This limited-edition collection of bed linen and homewares offers an abundance of seamless styling; verdant hues of spruce and light moss immerse us in nature, while ocean and duck egg plunge us into aquatic tranquility. Wandering deep within the forest, midnight moss linen, plush olive velvet and verde prints whisper and rustle. Grace and beauty radiate through layers of rosewood, driftwood and pink clay, while nutmeg, cocoa and oatmeal weave their warmth throughout the room.

Nestled within the Tsuru print, a majestic mountain rises; Taranaki Maunga, a foundational landmark of the region we call home. As we reminisce on the past 20 years, this subtle gesture folds our journey into our design. The remarkable similarity between Mount Fuji of Japan and our mountain is a muse that accompanies other inspiration drawn from Japanese culture, art and their intentional way of life that continues to shine through the themes and designs of our collections.

Each element of Kizuna is designed to work together through harmonious combinations of texture, composition, context and colour. We hope this collection will deepen the bond between you and your home, affirming the value you place in quality craftsmanship. As each piece becomes an heirloom for years to come, may it play a part in the enduring and profound connection amongst your family and friends.
