Anker's Bonnet is worked first back and forth in segments of rib stitch. Then, the crown is shaped with decreases while being knit in stockinette stitch in the round on double pointed needles. The rib stitch is stretchy and it will adapt comfortably to the child's head.

Sizes: 0-2 months (3-6 months) 6-9 months (1-2 years) 2-4 years

Gauge: 36 sts x 41 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 inches in 1 x 1 Rib Stitch

Suggested needles: 3mm (U.S. size 3) needles and 3mm double pointed needles

Materials: 50 g of fingering weight yarn for all sizes
