Organic Wool 2 yarn from Krea Deluxe is a thick GOTS certified merino wool. The wool comes from South America and it is spun, dyed and finished in a small family owned spinning mill in Portugal.

The wool is produced with a focus on animal welfare and sustainability, and is of course mulesing-free. At the same time, the organic wool is free of harmful substances and chemicals. This range of organic wool is a new formula designed to reduce pilling by up to 80% less, thus succeeding in producing a soft and organic wool yarn WITHOUT adding unnecessary chemicals such as superwash and other chemicals.

An exclusive high quality wool yarn where the unique tone on tone colour palette has been developed in co-operation with a skilled dyeing specialist. Super soft to the touch, this yarn is suitable for baby, children and adult garments and also homewares such as blankets, cushions etc.

Recommended Care: 

The first wash
To get the right fullness in the wool, we recommend soaking your finished Organic Wool 2 product in min. 10 minutes at max 30 degrees hot water. The work is then dried as explained below.

The following washes
We recommend hand washing as the wool programs of washing machines are very different. If you have a good washing machine with a gentle wool program, you can wash your Organic Wool 2 product in the machine.

•          Use only a little wool detergent without enzymes.
•          Use a laundry bag, max 30 degrees and 800 rpm.

Drying
Leave your item flat to dry on e.g. a towel and stretch your knitted / crocheted work to the correct measurements.

The wool can stretched a lot in washing but will contract giving the right fullness when dried flat and blocked to measure.
